Ingredients
1 Tiger Tiger Tempura Batter mix
Selection of fresh vegetables (chopped)
1 Tiger Tiger Taste Japan Soy Sauce
Method
1. Chop vegetables (peppers, sweet potato and aubergines work particularly well)
2. Prepare the tempura mix as per instructions on the packet (for best results use ice cold water and do not over mix).
3. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or deep sided pan.
4. To check that the oil is hot enough place a small drop of batter into the oil, if it sizzles and start to cook straigt away then it’s ready.
5. Dust the chopped vegetables with flour, dip into tempura batter and fry in small batches for 2-3 minutes.
6. Serve with Tiger Tiger Taste Japan Soy Sauce
