Tinned Spices

Asian Food is renowned for its use of ground spice in its recipes. These pre-ground spices offer ease of use and can speed up any cooking process. Spices are used to add depth of flavour or heat to recipes. In Indian food ground spices are usually gently sizzled with onions at the start of cooking or made into a curry paste (masala) by mixing oil or ghee.
