
Ingredients
4 Pork Shoulder Steaks
Freshly Ground Sichuan Peppercorns,
2 tbsp Oil
2 tbsp Tiger Tiger Dark Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Chinese Red Cooking Wine
100g / 4oz Shallots
2 tsp Tiger Tiger Minced Garlic
6 tbsp Tiger Tiger Hoisin Sauce
2 tbsp Clear Honey
Method
1) Coat steaks evenly with pepper and place on a roasting tray,
2) Mix the oil, soy sauce, shallots, garlic and hoisin sauce together and
spread over the steaks,
3) Preheat oven to 180c / 350f / gas mark 4/,
4) Drizzle the steaks with half of the honey and roast for 20 minutes,
5) Turn the steaks and spread with the marinade from the tray and
drizzle with the remaining honey,
6) Roast for a further 10 minutes until piping hot,
7) Serve with thin rice noodles and wilted pak choi.
