Carrots in Batter

Ingredients
4 Carrots
1 Egg
1 tbsp Flour
pinch of Salt
Oil for frying
Method 1) Wash carrots and cut diagonally into slices 1cm thick,
2) Put some flour on a plate,
3) Beat the egg in a bowl, add the salt, and mix,
4) Heat some oil in a pan at least 1cm deep,
5) Working quickly, dip carrot slices into flour, then into the egg, and
into the moderately hot oil to fry,
6) If shallow frying, turn slices as they cook,
7) When the batter is golden and crispy,
8) Remove from the oil and serve on a bed of crisp lettuce.
